Warning: wordy but I believe you will find this useful.
We were very concerned about the TRAIN STRIKES in Paris. Where parts of the train system don't work, one of which is the RER A which takes us to Paris Disneyland. So, we decided to save ourselves the trouble and try a reputable coach service. We paid SGD176 per pax for both the ticket and a two-way coach transport.
You can see full details here.

To be honest any trip to Disneyland is expensive but we really didn't know how to get to Disneyland and the cost of being stranded there was too high, so we chose to do this day tour. If anyone can kindly give me a better route at a cheaper cost please do so.
We opted to be picked up at Opera 8.30am. We reached there by 8.10am to be super sure.
The ticket wrote "8 place de l’Opéra (facing Lancel shop)." and omg. This is legal interpretation in practice man. My whole family legit disagreed about what this statement meant. I said we should stand at the pavement right outside Lancel. Mum said we should stand across the road facing Lancel. Dad said we should stand in the middle of nowhere, where the Opera station exit is because "that seems the likely place bus will pick people up".
Urgh spare me. Especially since this is France and I don't speak French.
Check your ticket through and through. The website wrote "8 place de l’Opéra (facing Lancel shop)." but the ticket contained slightly more detail and wrote "8 place de l’Opéra, facing Lancel shop, bus stop number 95"
So to be super sure. We were super early lor. And sure enough people started to gather around with obvious printed tickets for the Disneyland coach.
The coach arrived and because there were other vehicles blocking the road, it made a right turn and went further down the corner to pick us up.
So. If. You were not there at the exact moment the bus came (which was 8.30am exactly for us), you are going to see NOTHING RELATED TO DISNEYLAND upon arriving later.
Morale of the story: be at least 15 min early.
Also. Recommend my blog to people please. Then you know such info ;)
The bus looks like this
And the place to stand looks like this.
The bus was thankfully super huge and barely half filled even after picking up groups from a final stop after ours. I say thankfully because everyone at my stop clearly didn't know the meaning of queuing up and pushed and shoved their way up the bus. My family rolled our eyes and just waited to be the last to board despite being in the queue and getting cut all over. Save my energy for more important things in life.
Before we entered the bus we were given our 3 Disneyland tickets
The bus ride was really smooth and I barely took a nap before we arrived a mere 50 minutes later.
Along the way the tour bus guide mentioned about the details for the second pick up later in the day. She spoke in both English and French.
You don't have to opt in for the second pick up, but if you are bored to tears or wanna stay longer you can opt out. They don't care, they just leave on the dot with whoever is in the bus. Interestingly they don't even check who is boarding.
The ticket printed said 9pm was pick up but the tour guide said they were changing it to 9.30pm. urgh. So don't make appointments and reservations for any late night dinners ah. See traffic as another reason not to below.
The place they dropped us, which was a drop off area within the big car park, was the exact same spot they picked us up, but this wasn't clearly mentioned by the guide. Sorry I forgot to take a picture.
Please note that in summer, the Disneyland Park opens till 11pm (ROFL) and so about 10.45pm is when the Disneyland illuminations/fireworks begin. If bus leaves at 9pm obviously you are not going to see it. Why? Coz. The sky only turns dark at 10.30pm lol. Sun sets at 9.30pm
To me seeing Disneyland in constant sunlight is awesome, coz you have so much extra time to take pictures and go on rides. Also I did research and watched the entire Disney Illuminations on YouTube in 1080p. It wasn't so impressive, though that person's camera and tripod certainly were.
Finally, we left at 9.30pm on the dot and there were 2 buses available. One was the Disneyland blue bus and one was a red bus with no indication of Disneyland shuttle. Omo. Both buses this time only went to two stops. One was to Eiffel Tower and some other place idk. One was to Garu De Nord and to Opera. But both bus drivers did speak basic English and made it clear which stops they would alight passengers at through a paper sign.
Our bus back took a bit longer. Traffic was smooth along the highway but there were jams everywhere on the way to Garu De Nord. Bus driver chap even had go alight the passengers slightly away from the main Garu De Nord station because the jam was that horrible. I think the journey up till the point I alighted was about 1 hour 30 minutes.
So! Overall if trains are not on strike you can feel free to take train to Disneyland! I saw the exit for the train it was very near the entrances to the parks compared to the carpark, which was a 10 minute walk away.
Overall... Don't be late and be very aware of your time! And you should be totally fine
